Mrs. Nace's Classroom Shenanigans

This week we will be learning about Martin Luther King, the letter F and numbers 19 & 20.

We will starting take home folders this week. Each folder consists of skills that your child needs to master during kindergarten. Each week I will staple one page in their folder for them to work on throughout the week. I will test them over these skills on Thursday and return it home Friday with the new sheet.  Please return the homework folder no later than Thursday. Please do not stress over these! They are just a simple way for us to help keep you informed of what we are learning about. These folders can also be used to reinforce skills for many years to come.  (THESE WILL GO HOME TUESDAY.)

Report cards will be going home next week and our first presentations are due next Friday.

The kids are becoming great readers and I am very excited about their progress! Please continue to be working on your child's "Take Home Reader."

We will also be really starting to work on their writing skills. Practicing sound spelling for different words will help their writing develop.
